I was very impressed with them. We had called four different companies for quotes and were extremely disappointed by the others. We really wanted to find a local contractor, and one insisted they were local, even though they were located over 3 hours away. Dan came out personally to do measurements, showed up with an estimated layout based on rough measurements he got from looking at our home on Google Earth. He knew all about incentive programs offered by Duke Power, and gave us quite an education about solar in general. While his company doesn’t offer financing, he laid out all of our options for us, from a company they work with to a personal loan to home equity line of credit, and he was able to give us all the details about the federal and state tax credits and incentives we would be entitled to if we did the installation. His presentation was comprehensive and impressive. In the end, we abandoned the project due to the cost, but if we ever revisit the idea of installing solar on our home, we will definitely use Inviro Design (now SEEfficiency).”
